| Rajouri police arrest theft accused, recover stolen cash and other articles in Kandi | | |  Early Times Report
RAJOURI, July 22: Acting on the information received at Police Station Kandi arrested Accused Showkat Ali S/O Mohd Shafi Caste Gujjar resident of Kunderdhan Tehsil ChassanaDistrict Reasi in connection with Case FIR No. 94/2026 under Sections 331(4)/305 BNS of PS Kandi.
During the course of investigation on the disclosure of the accused Team of Kandi Police Station recovered and seized Rs 15,250 in stolen cash, a bank receipt evidencing the deposit of Rs 10,000 out of the stolen money along with other stolen articles.
The recovery was made in connection with the theft committed at Kali Mata Mandir Mandirgala Koteranka. Further investigation into the case is in progress. |
