Samba police arrests drug peddler 7/31/2026 10:40:25 PM Early Times Report SAMBA, July 31: Continuing its drive against drug smugglers and peddlers, Samba Police has arrested a drug peddler and recovered approximately 8.20 grams heroin-like substance from his possession within the jurisdiction of Police Station Ghagwal. A team of Police Post Rajpura of PS Ghagwal while performing vehicle checking duty at Naka Mawa chowk, intercepted an auto load carrier bearing registration No. JK08N-7133 which was coming from Vijaypur side and moving towards Rajpura. During search and checking of the vehicle, police recovered approximately 8.20 grams of a heroin-like substance from the possession of the driver. The drug peddler identified as Sunny Kumar S/o Des Raj R/o W. No. 12 Vijaypur district Samba has been arrested and the contraband item along with vehicle used in the commission of crime has also been seized by police.
