Addressing the media, the MLA stated that maintaining cleanliness in Holy Town Katra remains one of his top priorities, as lakhs of pilgrims visit Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji throughout the year. He informed that he has recently issued a detailed D.O. letter to the Executive Officer, Municipal Committee, Katra, requesting further strengthening of sanitation arrangements and ensuring timely waste collection across the town so that the Holy Town continues to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

In case any additional financial requirement arises, a detailed proposal may be submitted, and the required financial assistance will be provided from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
