JAMMU, Aug 14: Thirteen personnel of the Jammu and Kashmir Police have been awarded the Medal for Meritorious Service on the occasion of Independence Day 2026.
The awardees include SSPs Sandeep Kumar and Amit Gupta, who have been recognised for their meritorious service.
Among the other awardees are Deputy Superintendents of Police Rajesh Sharma, Muzaffar Ahmad Shah, Kuljeet Singh and Sharat Chander Singh; Inspectors Shamim Ahmed, Vikram Singh and Mumin Ahmad Rather; Sub-Inspector Manzoor Ahmad Gada; Assistant Sub-Inspectors Bodh Raj and Mushtaq Ahmed; and Constable Ashraf Gull. |
