BHADERWAH, Sept 2: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sunil Kumar Bhutyal today conducted inspection of main market in Bhaderwah town to review civic amenities, cleanliness, traffic management, availability of essential commodities and other public convenience arrangements ahead of the Kalash Yatra and Janmashtami celebrations.
SDPO, EO MC, Naib Tehsildar, SHO, TSO along with officials of the Municipal Committee, Veterinary, Traffic, Horticulture and other concerned departments accompanied the ADC during the inspection.
The inspection covered key areas of the market with focus on availability of essential commodities, sanitation, cleanliness, traffic regulation, encroachment, civic amenities and the overall convenience of the general public and devotees during the upcoming religious events.
The ADC directed the concerned departments to undertake necessary measures and ensure that all civic and public convenience arrangements are put in place well in advance. He stressed upon maintaining cleanliness, regulating traffic movement and ensuring proper coordination among all departments for the smooth conduct of the religious events.
During the inspection, the Police, Traffic and Municipal Committee Bhaderwah recovered Rs. 13,600 fine from traders and transporters for different violations. |
