| Heart first, health always: Indian Army marks World Heart Day | | | Early Times Report RAJOURI, Oct 1: On the occasion of World Heart Day, the Indian Army conducted cardiovascular health awareness lectures and interactive sessions for civilians, border residents and Ex-Servicemen across Rajouri and Poonch, promoting preventive healthcare, early detection and heart-healthy lifestyles. The sessions focused on prevention of cardiovascular diseases, identification of early warning signs, balanced nutrition, regular physical activity and the importance of timely health screening. Participants were also sensitised about major risk factors associated with heart disease and were provided practical guidance on adopting healthy lifestyle practices, recognising symptoms at an early stage and seeking timely medical assistance.
