'Guilty' in recruitment scam, Dilbag Singh lectures on professionalism

Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 9: Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Dilbag Singh, who was once found allegedly "guilty" in recruitment scam in the department has started giving lectures to police personnel on "professionalism and dedication" while performing their duties. While addressing a police function here recently, the DGP rewarded 38 Police personnel of Jammu and Kathua districts for showing "professionalism and dedication while performing assigned duties." A press release from the police department said that "DGP accorded sanction to the grant of Class 1st Commendation Certificate along with cash reward to the 22 police personnel of Kathua district for exhibiting professionalism and hard work in working out robbery case." The DGP has also rewarded 16 personnel of Jammu district with Class 1st Commendation Certificate along with cash reward for their "hard work and professionalism" shown by them. The DGP in question happens to be the same police official who as then Deputy Inspector General of Police was found "guilty" in a recruitment scam almost two decades...
