BDC polls: After humiliating defeat BJP gives wrong figures to befool people H.H.Sri Sri Ravi Shankar 10/26/2019 9:57:36 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 26: After shameful defeat of the party in Block Development Council (BDC) elections, incumbent leadership of state BJP is trying to befool the people and workers by presenting wrong pictures. BJP state president, who has failed to even protect his home block of Lambari, has claimed that party and his supporters have won 102 seats but the reality is that party has won only 80 seats out of 280 on which party had fielded its candidates with much pomp and show. On October 4, BJP state president along with senior leaders had addressed a press conference in which he had announced to field 280 candidates but after declaration of the results, in which party performed very bad, it claimed that party has fielded less candidates and supported lot of independents who has won the elections. Credible sources in the BJP said that he had made a prestigious issue to win Lambari, Sunderbani and Nowshera blocks of any home constituency at cost. Admin encourages Kashmir youth to start poultry venture, skips Jammu! H.H.Sri Sri Ravi Shankar 10/26/2019 9:57:22 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 26: In yet another move to seemingly appease the people of Kashmir since the abrogation of the special status on August 5, the Jammu and Kashmir administration has started a special program to encourage Kashmir youth to start poultry farming. The animal husbandry department in Kashmir has started a multi-crore program whereby all the districts of Kashmir province are being offered assistance to "rear backyard poultry birds." As per the scheme, the selected candidates who qualify the criteria of having requisite land, will be given upto 400 poultry birds to start their venture.
