Assaulting scribes, cops a favourite pastime of separatists Govt soft on anti-nationals
4/29/2018 1:31:00 AM
Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 28: The government, it seems has different yardsticks for the separatists and the commoners. Even the police seems reluctant to act against the separatists. The police men failed to act today when JKLF chairman, Yasin Malik tried to assault the police men in Khanyar Srinagar and obstructed the lawful duty of men in uniform. There are also several incidents when separatists either threatened the journalists or policemen or assaulted them. A police spokesman said that Malik and his accomplice obstructed the lawful duty of policemen who requested them to produce registration papers of the car in which they were travelling. He said that a police team deployed on a routine naka duty intercepted the car in which Malik was travelling. "The travellers inside th...

4/29/2018 1:30:10 AM
Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 28: Even as the government is expected to cut separatist leaders to size, in restive Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Police look at the anti-national elements with so much of respect and regard that the JKP has released special handout to clarify lest such leaders feel displeased. Something of this sort happened today, when the Jammu and Kashmir Police issued a handout only to react to allegations as leveled by Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front that its Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik was roughed up by police for misbehavior with cops on duty in Srinagar. The JKLF this morning alleged that Yasin Malik has roughed up by police for having argued with cops on d...

4/29/2018 1:27:20 AM
