Multi-crore J&K Bank building scam shifts focus on Haseeb Drabu

Early Times Report Jammu, May 10: Worries ahead for former Finance Minister Dr. Haseeb Drabu as the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has accelerated its investigation in the multi-crores building scam of the J&K Bank. The anti-corruption wing of the CBI on Tuesday carried out searches at eight locations in Mumbai, Delhi, Jammu, and Srinagar in connection with a 12-year-old case. Although CBI, in its official handout, has not mentioned the name of Dr. Drabu it is clear that he was chairman of the Bank when this alleged scam took place.
