EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 16: In the backdrop of introduction of Jammu and Kashmir Special Recruitment (Amendment) rules, 2020, which has replaced the earlier existing recruitment rules the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has reportedly returned back over 900 posts of Medical Officers (MOs) to the General Administration Department (GAD) for necessary amendments. Sources in the JKPSC informed Early Times that the department of Health Services had forwarded around 900 posts of Medical Officers to the JKPSC for making recruitments against the posts. “When the posts were forwarded by the Health department to JKPSC, these posts were to be advertised under the Jammu & Kashmir Special Recruitment Rules, 2015, (SRO 202). In the meantime the JK UT administration amended the SRO-202 by issuing Jammu & Kashmir Special Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2020 on June 17, 2020. Early Times Report Srinagar, July 16: The Jammu and Kashmir administration has recovered Rs 39.69 lakh from a senior IAS officer he allegedly took from an organisation and recommended a probe into his alleged “illegal” monetary benefits, sources said on Thursday. The Lt Governor administration put a notice to the senior IAS officer for allegedly getting illegal monetary benefits from the organisation and asked him to remit the amount worth several lakhs to it, they said. The officer remitted an amount of Rs 39,69,359 back to the organisation recently, the sources said.
