This is the second time when the party through its senior leader and former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Ghulam Nabi Azad, has declared that it would fight the coming elections and J&K’s statehood should be restored. Jehangir Rashid Early Times Report SRINAGAR, July 25: The death toll due to Corona Virus in the union territory of Jammu & Kashmir reached 305 as nine more people died due to virus in past 24 hours. Meanwhile, 523 fresh cases of COVID-19 were reported today. Reports said that while four deaths occurred in Srinagar district, a death each was reported from Jammu, Baramulla, Budgam, Bandipora and Ganderbal districts. As on date 283 COVID-19 deaths have taken place in Kashmir, while as the number of such deaths in Jammu is 22.
