Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 18: Even as the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha is working hard for deliverance of good governance in Naya Jammu and Kashmir, even the prestigious Prime Minister’s Development Package is facing roadblocks due to allegedly irresponsible behavior of some officials. Sources said the bills to the tune of crores of rupees are pending in the Civil Secretariat for the execution of various projects under the PMDP. Sources said the projects were executed through the Kashmir Power Development Corporation Limited or KPDCL. Sources said as the bills were sent to the concerned offices in Civil Secretariat, there started a “blame game” among officials. “Planning officials said it was the job of the Finance people and the vice verse,” said a source in the Civil Secretariat. Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 18: The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested four people for procuring medical seats in Pakistan for students of Kashmir through Hurriyat leaders to fund terror outfits. Four people have been arrested in connection with procuring MBBS seats for students from Jammu and Kashmir in Pakistan via Hurriyat and terror funding. The arrested persons have been identified as Mohammed Akbar Bhat alias Zafar Bhat, who is chairman of the salvation movement, Fatima Shah, Mohammed Abdullah Shah, and Shabzar Ahmed Sheikh were arrested. Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Aug 18: The Government on Wednesday informed that 100 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 26 from Jammu division and 74 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 323682. Also, one Covid death has been reported from Jammu division. Moreover, 132 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 32 from Jammu Division and 100 from Kashmir Division.
