Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 4: Even as militants have intensified activities in restive Kashmir, the politicians who have a threat to their lives continue to misuse security cover provided to them by the government. Whereas it's an old complaint in Jammu and Kashmir state that the Personal Security Officers provided by police to "influential people" are made to do odd jobs like driving of vehicles, in the latest, the PSOs are seen working as cameramen during political rallies. One such incident has surfaced on social media. It shows that at a political rally organized by the Peoples Democratic Party in Bandipora area of north Kashmir, the PSO hung his weapon on his back. Early Times Report Srinagar, Aug 4: It is now more than six months since the State Information Commission (SIC) directed the Chief Engineer R&B Kashmir to conduct an inquiry against Executive Engineer R&B division Kargil for his alleged role in misplacing a tender opening file. But even after the orders of SIC, the inquiry report is yet to be made public by the Chief Engineer's office.
