Within days after pursuing ‘Gupkar Declaration’ Farooq skips question on Art 370! | | |
Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 8: Former Chief Minister and National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah today avoided reply to a question on Article 370. Dr Farooq’s decision to avoid reply on this question has raised many eye-brows because for the last one month NC leadership is vociferously raising the demand of restoring Article 370 and Article 35-A to “protect special status of J&K”.
Today after paying tributes to National Conference president Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah on his 38th death anniversary, Farooq launched a blistering attack on BJP and RSS for pursuing communal agenda but when he asked about Article 370 he avoided the question.
“Daffa 370 Ko Daikha Jaiga, Aap Na Mujaay Ram Madhav Ka Baray Main Pucha Tha (We will see Article 370 later.
You have asked me about Ram Madhav”, Dr Abdullah told reporters.
Interestingly NC leadership has taken lead in pursuing the Gupkar Declaration in which five parties have demanded restoration of Article 370, Article 35-A and statehood. But within days NC stalwart has refused to reply on this issue.
