Atul Pangotra brings laurel to J&K at int'l level

JAMMU, April 5 : Atul Pangotra State awardee made J&K proud once again by winning Gold medal in Raw Taekwondo International Championship held at Glasgow, Scotland on 3rd April 2016. Atul won the medal in individual men Senior 2 Taekwondo (pomsae) Event.
Atul is the only State Awardee and Sher-I-Kashmir Awardee in Taekwondo and only medalist from J&K State in commonwealth Taekwondo Championship. Atul Pangotra is working in Youth services and sports dept as a Physical education teacher. He has already played in more than 50 international events and International Championships as a player.
P.C Sharma President Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association (JKTA) Congratulate him on his success in recently concluded International Event and Nissar Hussain Vice President JKTA also praised Atul Pangotra for his outstanding performance in International Event. Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association gave special thanks to Director General Jahangir Mir and Haresh kumar Singh Commissioner Secretary youth Services and Sports for allowing him to attend the advance training at United Kingdom.
