Detached after 10 yrs, Kishtwar teachers fail to handover record

SRINAGAR, Oct 15: The teachers who were callings shots in Chief Education Office (CEO) Kishtwar and shown doors after one decade by the outgoing Deputy CEO are yet to handover the official record to concerned officials, hampering functioning of the Education department.
As per details available with Early Times, the influential teachers in the CEO Kishtwar were detached vide order No. CEO/K/2018/45686-697, dated 4-09-2018.
The detached teachers-Shahnawaz, Rajinder Sharma, Ajay Parihar and Sumit Sharma-were directed to report to their original place of posting. Moreover, Master Shahnawaz was directed to handover the complete charge to Shabir Hussain, Master MS Sewa Zone Inderwal and Ashwani Sharma, teacher ZEO Office Padder.
Also, Ajay Parihar was asked to handover the charge to Deepak Sharma, who being a law graduate, is I/C RTI in CEO Office Kishtwar while accountant Koushal Parihar has been directed to take over the complete charge from Master Rajinder Sharma and teacher Sumit Sharma.
But despite the directions issued by I/C CEO Kishtwar, Master Shahnawaz and Ajay Parihar did not handover the official record.
In fresh directions issued by incumbent CEO Kishtwar vide letter No. CEO/K/2018/49955-61, dated 15-10-2018 addressed to Headmaster GHS Lass/Sangrambhata, Shahnawaz and Parihar were directed to appear in his office chamber on 16-10-2018 and handover the official record to concerned dealing assistants after making proper list of inventory so that the official work may not hamper anymore as due to non-availability of the record, the office has faced embarrassing situation before higher authorities.
The CEO has warned both the employees that if they fail to comply with the orders, the matter will be viewed seriously and will refer the same to higher authorities for disciplinary action under law.
