Yatries find PHE with a glass of potable water

Jammu, July 10, To provide the nonstop drinking water facilities to Amarnath yatries , the public health department (PHE) has placed many water tankers, temporary water taps at different places in Jammu city. In this scorching heat and humid atmosphere PHE department Company Bagh who is associated with providing drinking water to yatries is really a yeoman's job and their staff is working relentlessly 24x7 to make this facility to the Amarnath yatries who are coming from different parts of the country to our state. Talking to Early times Darshan Choudhary AEE, said that their department is trying to give all facilities not only to Amarnath yatries, but to local populace also. We are doing our best to provide regular water supply to our citizens during the summer season when there is dearth of water supply. The company Bagh station is one of the oldest stations in Jammu which caters the maximum population of the city. During winters our demand increases due to Darbar move when government offices shift from Srinagar to Jammu, thus makes our job difficult.
In spite of facing problems and hardships PHE Department provides much needed succor to our esteemed to our citizens. Our station is working 24x7 and try to give much facility to common people.
As far as Amarnath yatries are concerned, as I have already mentioned you that we have placed number of water tankers, installed temporary water taps at different places like Bagwati nagar (Base camp) Exhibition ground, Jewel , Bus stand and other enrooted areas. Sohan Lal a yatri from Uttar Pradesh said that we are happy to see such facility provided by state government at Base camp and other places also, Another yatri Pankaj shah from Gujrat was of the opinion that this year there is lot of facilities visible as compared to previous year and drinking water facility (Tanker and temporary water taps) are available continuously, other yatries at exhibition ground also echo the similar views regarding the facilities provided by the PHE department.
