8 District Baramulla Hockey Championship Khalsa Club Upana makes it 3-1 win

Khalsa Club Upana today made it a 3-1 win against Surjeet Club to reach the next round of the semifinals in the ongoing District Baramulla Hockey Championship under the aegis of Hockey Jammu and Kashmir at Government (boys) Degree College ground, Baramulla, here.
Harshdeep Singh netted the first goal by converting a penalty corner awarded in the very fourth minute of the match. The lead was further improved by Khalsa striking in the sixth minute.
However, Avtar Singh reduced the margin when Surjeet Club struck in the ninth minute. Leading 2-1, Khalsa Club made it a comfortable 3-1 win with Gurpreet Singh adding his second goal in the 56th minute.
Today's match officiated by the technical penal comprising Satinder Singh, Narinder Pal Singh, Manjit Singh, Devinder Pal Singh and Ravi Raj Singh.
In today's match, Dr Harmeet Singh was special guest, who interacted with the teams. In all, eight teams are taking part in this tournament on knock-out basis.
NEXT MATCH: SAI North shall take on Sher Dil XI at 4.30 pm tomorrow.
