LPU organises 'Walk' against drug-abuse 9/3/2014 1:12:33 AM Jalandhar, Sept 2: Being alert on the unwanted consumption of drugs and other intoxicants among youth of the state, Lovely Professional University rose to its Corporate Social Responsibility and organised a 'Walk against Drug-abuse'. According to press release, hundreds of LPU students actively participated in the 5 kilo meter long in campus walk rally. Carrying placards & banners with slogans describing the ills of the drugs, students awakened all onlookers to say complete no to drugs. Most of the students were also having their faces painted depicting the havoc could be caused through drug-usage. On this occasion, a Drug abuse Eradication program- 'Bodh' was also organized under the banner of multi-faceted socio-spiritual organization 'Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan'.
