PHE Workers Welfare Association holds protest demonstration

Jammu, Sept 2: PHE Workers Welfare Association today held a massive protest demonstration and raised anti administration slogans against the state government and PHE authorties here at BC road.
According to press release, hundreds of PHE employees from far-flung areas have assembled in PHE Complex B.C. Road under the banner of PHE Workers Welfare Association and raised anti administration slogans against the State Government and PHE authorities winch have miserably failed to resolve die pending issues of the employees/ workers those who have been working in the departments for more thanl8 years. The employees were stressing hard for their regularization after 5 years, release wages of workers regularly before 5th of every month release of backlog pending wages of the workers, framing of new recruitment policy in PHE department and conducting of D.P.C. meeting against the vacant posts etc. It may be recalled that the "Kaam Chhor Hartal" which was started from 31.08.2014 is still continuing united.
General Secretary of association, Subash Verma has said that it was State Government who has forced our employees for taking such drastic steps He blamed that the PHE authority is non-serious about the striking employees and adopting pressure tactics to suppress the ongoing agitations of the employees and wants confrontation with the employees instead to resolve their genuine issues. He further assured the employees that PHE Workers Welfare Association always remained with the poor workers and will remain with them further in future. Verma further said that the association finally sensing the sentiments and mood of the striking employees has declared that the ongoing strike is being extended for more than 72 hours in the interest of common PHE workers and Government will held responsible for the consequence. Manzoor Ali, Babu Singh, Vijay Singh, Ram Labhaya, Rattan Dosh'I, Tilak Ri, Raldev Singhand Swarn Singh were also present on the oaccasion.
