| Diploma Engineers Association holds meeting at PDD office | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 9: A meeting of Diploma Engineers Association was held in Power Development Department office under the leadership of its President Er. Upinder Singh wherein various issued were discussed threadbare.
Singh expressed his anguish over the callous attitude of concerned authorities, towards diploma engineers. He reminded the authorities that 20% quota earmarked for diploma engineers should be maintained at the level of Assistant Engineer, Assistant Executive Engineer and Executive Engineer.
Er. Daljeet Singh, Chairman of Power Development Department unit demanded that in case of any untoward accident in P.D.D., case should be registered against the department not against the Jr. Engineer, as the practice in vogue is to hold the concerned in charge Jr. engineer guilty of accident .He appealed to Principal Secretary P.D.D./Development Commissioner P.D.D. and Chief Engineers of all the wings to take cognizance of the matter. |
