| Poor network coverage for customers | | BSNL claims fall flat | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 9: Tall claims of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to serve its customers across the state have fallen flat as people who use BSNL service to access internet have been getting poor services.
Some BSNL subscribers said that the internet service is worst hit which has become the reason for their loss in business.
“Internet and mobile services have also put a lot of inconvenience to the people. Many a times we have informed BSNL higher ups but they have failed to take any corrective measure in this regard,” they added.
Raman, a resident of Muthi, alleged that the internet service is deliberately being suspended by the department to put the people in trouble. Sunil, a BSNL wireless internet user, said that it has been a constant source of mental agony for him. “Since the use of internet has become part of every individual’s life, I feel cheated due to the faulty internet service being provided by the company”, he said.
He said that he uses internet frequently but he finds no service and slow network on his cell phone and laptop. “Laptop or mobile phones connect with network only with good signal strength. With poor signal strength, one cannot access the facility”, he said, narrating his experience.
Blaming BSNL for not providing quality services, he said that number of BSNL subscriber is reducing with each passing. “It seems that the higher authorities of BSNL are doing it deliberately to benefit others,” he alleged. “I registered a complaint with BSNL a few days back but so far there has been no improvement in the quality of service,” said Kunal, another customer using BSNL service.
Mukesh too had a similar story to tell. He also complained of poor internet service. It is pertinent to mention here that in its features, the company claims uninterrupted high-speed wireless internet connectivity across the country with better surfing speeds and high download speeds. |
