CM's grievance cell sleeps over Aam Aadmis complaints | Encroachers mock at law of the land | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 9: More than three weeks have passed when for the first time an official complaint against the VVIP violators who have raised illegal concrete structures inside Pocket 6, Sector 2, Housing board flats, was lodged in the Grievance cell, monitored by the office of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. In addition a copy of the complaint was also forwarded to the official email Id of Chief Minister but till date no action has followed even as encroachers are enjoying and are mocking at the law of the land. All the illegal concrete structures still stand tall and no departmental action has been initiated against the defaulters. According to the complaint no 52466 complainant had apprised the Grievance cell authorities on October 17, 2014 that serving state govt Gazetted officers, police officer of CID wing and former Congress MLA have raised concrete structures in Pocket 6, Sector 2, SFS Flats Channi Himmat, Jammu but the JK Housing Board Authorities are not taking any action against the defaulters despite repeated reminders and official complaint. "In contrast the same housing board authorities are working overtime to harass me and my family by serving us notices for raising aluminium frame within the surface area of our Ground floor apartment. Sir, I am senior citizen. I really do not know whether your government has legalized encroachment by gazetted officers, police officers and politicians. If not then why no action has been taken by the JK Housing Board Department against their own officer of the rank of AEE, a politician of the ruling party and police officer serving in the CID wing of the state police. Please deliver justice and do the needful," the complainant has written. |
