RS PURA, Nov 9: Young Athletic Club today organized 1st ever Athletic meet at RS Pura to promote the game in RS Pura.
Captain Bana Singh (Param veer Chakra) was the special invitee in the meet and Kundan Pahalwan was the organizer where as Shames Malik was the athletic coach and the overall incharge team comprises of Dr. Mehak, Gourav Kumar Atri, Rajni Atri, Sanjay Maandi, Jatinder Singh and Rakesh Kumar.
The result of the athletic meet was, in Senior Boys 200 mtr. Category, Amandeep stands 1st followed by Teg Ali and Sunil Singh. In U-14, 200 meters, Amarjeet Singh , Wahid Choudhary and Abhishek Sharma remained at 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively, in Senior Boys 800 mtr., Sukhwinder Singh at 1st place while Sunny Kumar and Jogesh Kumar at 2nd and 3rd and in 1500 meters Rahul Lakhotra at 1st , Rajinder Singh at 2nd and Tejinder Singh at 3rd place.
In Senior Boys Shortput, Krish Khullar remains 1st, Kamal Khullar, 2nd and Praveen Kumar 3rd while in Senior Boys High Jump, Chetan Atri, Rahul Atri and Arjun Atri bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
In Senior Girls 200 mtr. Damini Sharma stands 1st followed by Ravinder kour and Ashia Banu. In U-18, 200 mtr. Sham Din stands 1st followed by Ashni Kundal and Arjun Singh.
Lastly, in the closing ceremony, Kundan Pahalwan, Organizing secretary, presented vote of thanks to the Coach, Shames Malik. |
