Jammu, Nov 9: Paloura Top Colony residents today joined the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan by launching a cleanliness drive outside their houses. Ladies, children and youth in particular gathered outside their residences and participated in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Radha Kapoor, wife of Sham Kapoor, a social activist took the initiative to assemble ladies, children and gents of the community by educating them the importance of cleanliness and benefits associated with clean atmosphere. She emphasized the need to clean lanes, bylanes, schools, health centers and eatable shops of Paloura locality. She said that the same drive will continue on every Monday in the locality. People drive from all walks of life appreciated the move and showed keen interest to participate in the campaign launched by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. |
