Special enrolment drive in Jammu 11/10/2014 12:13:23 AM Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 9: After completion of summary revision of final electoral roll for ensuing Assembly Elections with respect to District Jammu which was published on 15th of October, 2014 and more than 40,000 voters have been added since last parliamentary elections. To facilitate voters for enrollment, District Election Officer Jammu organized a special campaign today during which all the BLO's were present in their respective polling stations along with latest electoral roll. The BLO's were directed to make available Form 6 for the desirous persons for applying fresh for enrolment. Returning Officers /Assistant Returning Officers / Tehsildar/ Naib Tehsildar Flying Squad teams / Video Surveillance teams / kept close monitoring of BLO's in each and every polling station to ensure that all BLO's were present in polling stations and ensured smooth on spot enrollment. Voter facilitation center were also established at various locations for on spot online registration in the electoral rolls. During the camps approximately 10000 form 6 were received by BLOs/facilitations centers in different constituencies. Enrollment drive was conducted as part of SVEEP "Wake up Jammu" campaign.
