Market checking in Kishtwar officials destroy rotten food stuff

Kishtwar Nov 9: On the eve of Urs Hazrat Shah Asrar ud Din Baghdadi (RTA), Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Mohammad Javed Khan today deputed a team headed by Tehsildar Kishtwar Phulail Singh for market checking exercise in Kishtwar town, an official spokesman said.
He said during the course of the checking, the team also checked the vending stalls at Chowgan while rotten vegetables, fruits and sweet were destroyed on the spot.
Three domestic LPG cylinders were also recovered from commercial establishments.
A fine of Rs. 1500/ was realised from the erring traders on the spot. The team issued strict directions to the traders to sell quality food stuff and maintain hygiene in their shops.
