| Sarpanch Puneja joins PDP | | | Early Times Report
BHADERWAH, Nov 9: In a jolt to the Congress in poll-bound Bhaderwah , its associate Sarpanch from Puneja ,Bhaderwah Ajaz Ahmed Beg today quit the party and joined opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) along with his hundreds of supporters .Terming the joining of Ajaz Ahmed Beg as a big boost for his party, PDP candidate from Bhaderwah segment said, "It is a matter of satisfaction that PDP in a short span of time like other parts of the state in Bhaderwah has emerged as strong political force in the as well as a credible voice of the people of Bhaderwah-Bhalessa and Charalla, a press statement said ."He said the PDP's agenda of peace and development was now seen positively not just in in Jammu and Kashmir but also in Bhaderwah constituency .Noting that the formation of PDP in 1999 was a turning point in the history of Jammu and Kashmir, he said, "In a short span, PDP has earned credibility of the state's people. The party has emerged as the biggest political force in the state." |
