CPPWU demands deputation of specialists in district hospital Kishtwar

Jammu, Jan 25 : Chairman Chinar Power Projects Workers Union (CPPWU) district Kishtwar Joginder Bhandari expressed serious concern over the non availbality of skin specialist and ENT specialist in District Hospital Kishtwar.
According to press release, Joginder Bhandari said due to the non-availability of Skin and ENT specialists in the district hospital Kishtwar the patients are suffering a lot for which the patients have to go at Jammu and Srinagar for their treatment. He also said that a number of posts of specialists, doctors and para medical staff were lying vacant in DH Kishtwar for which a number of social and political organisations made several requests to the concerned authorities to fill up the vacant posts but despite of repeated requests the authorities at the helm of affairs turned deaf ear to their requests.
He also urged to provide sufficient supply of medicians in DH Kishtwar in view of the area and population of District Kishtwar. Meanwhile, he demanded hill development counsel for Chenab valley at par with Ladkah hill development counsel. Chenab Valley that forms one third area of Jammu Province shall have a separate hill development counsel to migrate the sufferings of inhabitants of the area. He urged upon the Governor of J&K state for declaring Chenab Valley a separate division to pave the way for equitable and rationalized development of this remotest and backward area besides equal distribution of funds to this Valley.
Among those who were attended the meeting included Mohammad Amin Butt, Bashir Khan, Tariq Patri, Anil Sharma, Ghulam Hussain Gannie, Javed Malipath, Sameer Butt, Mohammad Ashraf Gannie, Jaffar Butt,Sunil Sharma, Ram Rattan Sharma, Sardar Satpal Singh, Jaffar Giri, Shoket, Sajjad Sheikh, Kursheed Sheikh, Nissar Baderwahi, Irshad Ahmed, Farooq Dugga, Niser Ahmed and others.
