Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 5: An alleged case of harassment surfaces in Passport Office, Jammu where a lady who is wife of senior citizen having good repute in society was shown the door after she objected on the staffer's move. The lady namely Dilshad Khalid Shah of Sidhra speaking to reporters, said that she went to the Passport Office Jammu for applying of the fresh passport of her minor son namely Aazibhamza after completing all formalities. In the passport office she was told that in addition to the formalities, she has to produce the joint account of her and hers husband from a reputed bank. The account must be older than a year or six months. She further alleged that she went to one Kuldeep Kumar, a senior officer in the passport office ,from where she got nothing but embarrassment. Later, she was told to make way to home. Meanwhile, Passport Officer, S.P Rajinder Gupta, when contacted said that he had not received any such complaint from anybody. Further, he said that if anybody has any complaint, he or she should contact him as he is available in the office during office hours. |
