GoM on 'Agenda for Alliance' to visit New Delhi
Parleys on CMP implementation on cards

SRINAGAR, Apr 26: Headed by Dy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh, the Group of Ministers entrusted with implementation of 'Agenda of Alliance' or Common Minimum Programme of the PDP-BJP government in the state, shall visit the national capital to work out the modalities with the union government. The group was constituted by the chief minister Mufti Mohammad sayeed last week.
Minister for PHE, I&FC, Sukhnandan Kumar who is one of the members of panel told that they will visit New Delhi next week to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other union Ministers. "Yes we are visiting New Delhi next week to meet Prime Minister and other union ministers. Our visit is related to implementation of various aspects of the agenda of PDP and BJP government," he said.
Kumar said that besides him the group which is visiting New Delhi includes Nirmal Singh, Minister for Rural Development Abdul Haq Khan, Minister for Finance, Dr Haseeb A. Drabu and Minister of State for Cooperatives (Independent Charge) & Ladakh Affairs, Chering Dorjey.
It is pertinent to mention here that the 'Agenda of the Alliance' includes creation of conditions to facilitate resolution of all issues of J&K by talking to all stakeholders, maintaining present position on all constitutional provisions pertaining to J&K, including the special status in the Constitution of India, and examining the need for de-notifying 'disturbed areas' over revocation of AFSPA.
Besides, it also includes working out a one-time settlement for refugees from Pakistan Administered Kashmir of 1947, 1965 & 1971, taking measures for sustenance and livelihood of the West Pakistan refugees, extending all benefits accruing to the people living on the LoC and on the International Border, constructing shelters in vulnerable areas on the LoC and the International Border, preventing loss of life and giving ST status to Kolis, Chopans and Paharis.
The agenda also focuses on protecting and fostering ethnic and religious diversity by ensuring the return of Kashmiri Pandits with dignity based on their rights as state subjects and reintegrating as well as absorbing them in the Kashmiri milieu.
