NPP mocks at BJP leadership for contradictory stand on AIIMS

Early Times Report

JAMMU, Apr 26: Lampooning the BJP leaders for quoting contradictory statements over the issue of AIIMS Panthers Party believed that the success of Jammu Bandh on April 24 called by JKNPP and other social and political organizations over the restoration of the premier health institute to Jammu has bewildered the Saffron Party and put it in a catch 22 situation.
While coming out heavily on the remarks of the Deputy CM Nirmal Singh on the eve of April 24 saying that there is no question of snatching AIIMS from Kashmir and giving it to Jammu Balwant Singh Mankotia wondered on the recent statement of Union MoS Dr. Jitendra Singh quoting that Jammu is the fittest case for establishing AIIMS as Kashmir already has SKIMS in Soura while Jammu sans such facility.
Expressing immense resentment over the AIIMS issue Balwant Singh Mankotia revealed that despite of announcements having made by two Union Ministers including the Union Finance Minster Arun Jaitley during the Union Budget Session of 28th Feb 2015 at New Delhi for establishing the long cherished premier health project of AIIMS explicitly in Jammu ,the fact which has been confessed by Dr. Jitendra Singh in his recent statement, it was shocking to hear the Governor's address pertaining to para 34 in the first session of the State Assembly immediately after the formation of the PDP-BJP dispensation as to how the BJP partnered government in Jammu and Kashmir state allowed the prestigious health institute to be transferred to Kashmir? Maintaining that AIIMS, an advance edifice for Health and Medical Education which not only caters to the Health care services but also provides the facilities for advanced research was a most coveted project of Jammu which was promised by the successive governments he accused the Saffron Party for treacherously surrendering AIIMS to Kashmir for mere lust of power to become a junior partner in the PDP led government. Other leaders who accompanied Mankotia included Gangan Partap Singh, Nirmal Kishore, Mohinder Pal Singh (Pandu), Shankar Chib, Roshan Lal, Satvir Singh.
