Jammu, Apr 28 : KCS College of Education (Women) organized a Sports week in the College premises. According to press release, the week will last long from 28th of April 2015 to 4th of May 2015. The Principal of the College Prof. OP Sharma declared open the event. In his Inaugural address, he said that not only academic performance of the students give them opportunity to be well placed in society but this is also due to the Sports that Sachin Tendulkar, the Great Cricketer got Bharat Ratna Award ,the highest award of the nation. The said event was organised by Convener Sports Committee, Rajan Suri and his associates namely,Rohani Sharma and Vickey Kumar,Physical Instructor of the College .Besides this, the members of the teaching faculty were also present. A large number of students participated with full enthusiasm and really enjoyed the event to the fullest extent..On the first day, Badminton and Volley-Ball were the main outdoor events of the day.The refreshment was also served to the players. |
