8 kg poppy straw seized, driver held 5/25/2015 12:00:56 AM Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, May 24: Police seized 8 kg of Poppy Straw (Bhukki) Near Kud on National Highway and arrested the driver. Based on a specific input, a police team led by SHO Police Station Kud laid a naka on National Highway near Kud and intercepted one suspicious Bus bearing registration number JK02Y-0432 which was on its way from Kashmir to Jammu. During search of the said bus, 8 kg Poppy Straw was recovered and bus driver namely Manjeet Singh son of Mohan Singh of Nanak Nagar Jammu was arrested and bus was seized.
