Doda, Aug 2: Action Committee for Chenab Valley Hill Development Council (ACCVHDC) also condemned the lathicharge on peaceful protesters. Sheikh Abdul Rehman (Ex. M.P) said that State has no constitutional powers to suppress democratic voice of people by use of force and described violence lashed out against members of Jammu Bar Association most brutal, unfortunate and act of state terrorism. The committee also repeated its demand that AIIMS and IIT be established at Chenani of Udhampur district and Batote of Ramban district respectively, which are at equal distance between Jammu and Srinagar. |
