JAMMU, Oct 3 : Springdales School, Lower Barnai organized Music Day and English poem recitation competition in the school grounds today. The orchard area was decorated using bright fluorescent colors expressive of the brightness of the young children who participated in presence of their parents and guardians.
The event was presided over by the Founder and Chairperson of Springdales Educational Society, Rashmee Malhotra and HoD English, Springdales Higher Secondary School, Canal Road, BL Bhat.
The event unfolded with presentation of group songs by students of different classes and thereafter the English Recitation Competition was held. From each class students recited poems individually and in groups. For judgment, weightage was given to pronunciation, memory, delivery and expression. The competition concluded with prize distribution and addresses by the special guests. |
