Jammu, Oct 4 : Police arrested a bootlegger and recovered 130 Poly Pouches measuring 250/250 ml each of J&K excise liquor from his possession at Katra.
As per press release, the team headed by Inspector Kuldeep Krishan, SHO P/S Katra under the supervision of Dr. Ashok Sharma, KPS SDPO Katra, Sumir Kotwal, Addl. SP Katra and overall supervision of Sujit Kumar, SSP Reasi, acting on a specific input, laid a special naka at Railway Chowk Katra and during checking/frisking intercepted one person namely Pawan Kumar son of Ram Saran resident of Seela Reasi alongwith vehicle Maruti Zen bearing registration No.JK14/7184 and recovered 130 Poly Pouches measuring 250/250 ml each of J&K excise liquor from his possession. In this connection, a case FIR No. 162/2015 U/S 48-A Act, 188/RPC stands registered at P/S Katra and investigation of the case is in progress. |
