Early Times Report

Jammu, July 30: Kuldeep Kumar Rao a member of Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice has expressed concern over the loss of precious lives of the people of Kashmir & security personnel in the current unfortunate incidents taking place in Kashmir due to utter failure of the government in tackling the situation & also the wrong & appeasement polices of the corrupt political system of the successive governments in the State for their personal interests.
The main reason behind this unrest in the valley is that the qualified youth of the valley in particular have always been ignored by the corrupt successive governments and these governments have bitterly failed to address their grievances and taking action for providing them lively hood.
These un-employed qualified youth having no means of lively hood, prompted themselves to choose the alternative way for earning their lively hood by indulging themselves to stone pelting as these youth are being paid a handsome amount for stone pelting by the vested interests active in the valley. Rao said that all political parties which are presently active in the country have always adopted the divide and rule policy for their vote banks and their personal interests.
None of the governments have taken any concrete steps to bring the educated youth in the main stream of the country for their welfare. The main reason for ignoring the educated youth is that the elected representatives who are supposed to be the representatives of the people but are the representatives of the political parties and are working for their parties and for their own interest to fill up their own pockets thereby ignoring the welfare of the people. These representatives (MP's, MLA's & MLC's) do not respond to the genuine demands & requirement of the public in general & aggrieved youth in particular. These representatives are only concerned to the commission being received from their constituency development fund without verifying the construction work what so ever on ground for which they provide funds from their constituency development fund. The loss of state exchequer on this account has put the general public to great hardships by way of the state of price rise on every essential commodity. The funds amounting to Rs 107.13 Cr, released under the PM Modi's Swachh Bharat drive has not been properly utilized for the purpose for which it was released.
