Mere installation of hoardings will not do the job, act as per need: Jan

Poonch July 30: Castigating state government and health ministry for making hollow sloganeering for strengthening health sector in Poonch and Rajouri districts, Youth National Conference here has said that concerned minister and officers should act as per the need of the hour rather than only installing hoardings on roadsides.
In a press statement issued here, YNC Jammu Province President Ajaz Jan stated that he toured several villages of Mandi block of Poonch which are located near LoC but are lacking various health facilities.
"In all the areas, health sector is the major cause of cry for public and they have been left on the mercy of God, " Jan said, adding, "the condition of all the major hospitals of Poonch district, including SDHs and DH Poonch is deteriorating with each passing day and people are suffering a lot."
He also said that condition of health department is same in Rajouri district also whereas health ministry has even failed to appoint Medical Superintendent for District Hospital Rajouri whereas condition of several peripheral hospitals including Kotranka, Manjakote, Budhal and Kalakote is turning from bad to worst.
"What else we can expect when most of the work in PHC in Samote Budhal is managed by a Class VI employee," Jan added.
"We can see a number of hoardings of Health Ministry lying on roadside which is nothing but a publicity student " Jan said adding that under present government health sector is deteriorating with each day.
Meawhile YNC Provincial President Ajaz Jan toured several villages of Mandi and interacted with the locals of the area and assured these people to highlight their issues on proper platform and to get them addressed
Among who accompanied YNC leader Mr Jan, were Abdul Ahad bhatt, Imtaz banday, Abdul Ahad malik Kamrate, Gulla bhatt, Abdul Jabar Tantary, Ismial bhatt Pralkote, Aslam Sheikh, Ishaq Khan, Saleem Khariand Mohd Aslam Awan.
