'No Polythene Campaign' organized 10/7/2016 9:48:49 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Oct 7: NSS volunteers of govt Hr Sec School Boys Kathua under swatchta abhiyan organised 'No Polythene Campaign' at Mata Jasrota temple Kathua. The programme was organised under the supervision of school principal KK Gupta. The NSS volunteers undertook a rally which passed through village Rajbagh and Jasrota in which volunteers raised slogan regarding ban on use of polythene and asked the residents to shun its use and maintain sanitation in their vicnity. Later the volunteers reached the mela site where large number of people visit the temple during navratras. The volunteers prepared paper bags and requested the visitors to exchange them with polythene bags . Volunteers also undertook massive sanitation drive in the premises of temple and asked the visitors to maintain the sanctity of the temple.
