BJP, PDP unit of Leh lands into political crisis 10/7/2016 9:48:54 PM Early Times Report Leh, Oct 7: Political crisis erupted in BJP and PDP Leh Unit after announcement of nomination list in Leh district of Ladakh region. Some internal sources revealed that the conflict has been deepened after the crisis begun in BJP in which the party has been divided into two fraction. Sources said that BJP Minister Tsering Dorjey Lakrook who holds Ladakh Affairs Ministry has announced the names of nominations who are not familiar in party. However it has been said that the senior party members have not been taken in to confidence in this regard. Earlier a news has come into the media that after government announced names of three members representing women and the minority community to Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Leh, a BJP leader along with his supporters threatened to resign from the party alleging that nominations have been made without taking active members. Government had nominated three members including Rinchen Lhamo, wife of Tsering Motup of Leh; Advocate Mohammad Nassir, son of Mohammad Asgar of Leh and Syeda Bano (Syada Ladakhi), daughter of Haji Ghulam Ali of Chuchot Leh. However, one member of the BJP is yet to be nominated. BJP and PDP are sharing two seats each out of the four nominations in leh council. Out of the three nominated members only Syada Ladakhi is a BJP leader and the other two are from PDP. On other hand recently some PDP leaders have also expressed resentment after they are being ignored by the PDP-BJP led council in Leh and not given a single nomination to the Nubra constituency. While Congress MLA from Nubra has expressed regret for not given a singal councillor for turtuk belt and said that the people in Turtuk side need more attention as they are become part of our side after 1971 earlier they were in Pakistan part of Baltistan.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
