JAMMU, Oct 7: Jammu Income Tax Department Jammu today organized a get together today to mark completion of IDS 2016 at its Guest House, Resham Ghar Colony in which Raman Suri first Government Approved Registered Valuer of Jewellery in J&K was felicitated for his valuable services to IDS-2016, During the programme, Commissioner Income Tax, Sangeeta Gupta thanked the people of J&K for their co-operation in IDS 2016. Commissioner of Income Tax, Sangeeta Gupta presented a letter of "Appreciation For Contribution in Nation Building" to Raman Suri, who is the first Government Approved Registered Valuer of Jewellery in J&K for his "valuable cooperation in extending support to achieve the target of IDS, 2016". Mr Suri, who is also Chairman of Sarafa Association and Swarnkar Sangh Joint Action Committee Jammu Province and is famous social activist in Jammu, has volunteered his expert services to IDS -2016. Talking to media persons on this occasion, Suri said that this Income Disclosure Scheme (IDS) was launched in whole India by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi from June 1-Sept 30 this year with an aim to make India- a Black Money Free Nation. He added, "And when he saw Income Tax Commissioner, Sangeeta Gupta and her team striving hard to fulfill the dream of Modi ji, he got inspired by PM's letter in this regard and by the dedication of Commissioner, Sangeeta Gupta and her team to contribute in nation building so he volunteered to serve to all declarants. |
