Poonch, Oct 7: Public Health Engineering (PHE) department has stopped the water supply to all villages situated on line of control. According to the sources people living in hilly border areas of Mandi and Poonch blocks are suffering and are despoiled by the authorities.
National Conference workers in this regard held a meeting in Poonch, in which they allegedly said that the state coalition government has totally failed to provide basic necessities to the common masses of the society.
Bagh Hussain Rathore, Saleem Khaki, Sayeed Khan, Naseer Khan, Ishaq Khan, Abdul Ahad Bat, Mohammad Bashir Magray, Azad chuhan, Abdul Rashid Shahpuri, Manzoor Mair, Sirajuddin Sheikh and many others in this regard said the government has forgotten its promises done with people. They said all the issues raised in board meeting have been totally failed and legislature has failed to keep atmosphere of development clean.
They allegedly said the government is involved in embezzling the funds so it is not taking action against the concern department. They demanded to provide better water supply in all border villages of Poonch and Mandi blocks.
While contacted, Executive Engineer PHE kept his phone busy and did not take call. Locals alleged that Ex En often remains absent from his office too. |
