Ceasefire violation at Bobiya, people protest against Pakistan | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Oct 20:- After ceasefire violation in Rajouri, Pakistan rangers opened fire in Hiranagar sector at Indian side village Bobiya between two checks post with the aim to cover infiltrators. Terror suddenly spread across the area and people felt insecure besides worried about children and minors. Irritated people today staged huge protest demonstration against Pakistan and expressed resentment. Rattan Chand, a local said, " Indiscriminate firings at the picket at 11;30 pm suddenly made people scared last night, they were unable to understand where they should go during mid night to safe the minors." Ganesh Raj, a local added that whole village turned into terror, students did not attend school and farmers could not reach in fields for harvesting, half harvested crops still on the land. Bharat Bhushan Ex Sarpanch, alleged on Union government to ignore border people and failed to fulfill promise made during election campaign for 5 marla plot in safer place and bunkers in permanent residence. He said that nothing had been done till day and government left people on their own after election. He added that no ex-gratia of losses in previous cross border firings. They demanded direct attack on Pakistan to get rid from frequent ceasefire violation and regular migration in camps. They expressed unsatisfactory tp provision of migration in safer places during tensed situation. |
