Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 20 : For allegedly issuing a fake RBA certificate to three children of a man of Darhal, Rajouri, the Crime Branch of state police has booked a patwari in a cheating case. The man, who got it issued in the name of his children, was also booked. The certificate carried the 'forged' signatures of then Darhal tehsildar Aamir Ayaiz Rather who had requested the Rajouri deputy commissioner to hold an inquiry. The DC then got the probe conducted through then incharge tehsildar, Darhal. The inquiry report revealed that RBA certificates were issued in favour of Shayed Malik, Shazia Kouser and Raheena Kouser, all children of Ali Bahadur of Thannamang, Darhal, vide No BCG/220-23 on September 8, 2015. These carried the seal and signatures of then Darhal tehsildar which were allegedly found to be fake and forged. It was also revealed that Bahadur had allegedly taken the help of Said Ullah, an irrigation patwari, posted at Darhal for the issuance of RBA certificates in favour of his children. Said was alleged to have charged Rs 200 from him for the preparation of files and affixing the official seal of Darhal tehsildar. The matter was then referred to CB for investigation vide communication No DCR/GS/3212-16 on August 4, 2016. The CB completed probe and booked Said Ullah, Bahadur and and others under sections 420, 465, 466, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of RPC.(JNF) |
