Patwar Association imposes penalties on members who skips protest

Kishtwar, Jun 1: Taking strong note of non participation of Patwaris in daily Dharnas and protest at District Headquarter, President Patwar Association Kishtwar Nisar Ahmed Butt today imposed fine to the tune of Rs. 500 each on several Patwaris who remain absent or skip the on going protest.
Addressing the gathering at DC Office Complex , Nisar Butt retreated it's commitment to fight till the government agreed on the demands of Patwaris. He called upon the to strengthen the ongoing agitation which completes 19 days today and ask the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and Revenue Minister Ghulam Nabi Hanjura to take lead in addressing the genuine demands of the Patwaris. He also warn those members who are working against the Association and called for complete shutdown of any kind of work in revenue department pertains to Patwaris. He also called for "Doda Challoo" tomorrow and directed the members to actively participate in tomorrow's Doda protest added that it will help in strengthening the fight against the government highhandedness who despite written assurances did not implement the decision which was agreed by them in letter and spirit. He once again apologize to the public for inconvenience to them due to on going indefinite strike of the Patwaris.
