Deputation of Teachers Forum, ReT teachers call on DC Rajouri, present memorandum
6/9/2018 11:37:22 PM
Early Times Report
RAJOURI, June 9: A joint deputation of J&K Teachers Forum and All J&K ReT Teachers Forum (JKReTTF) today held a peaceful protest demonstration and submitted a memorandum of their demands to Deputy Commissioner.
Submitting the memorandum joint deputation focused on the dire need to delink the salary of SSA teachers and Head Teachers from the central budget to state budget in order to regularize posts and salaries putting an end to the existing unjustified problem and thus providing the sigh of relief to the aggrieved employees of Education Department.
The deputation claimed that the ReTs, RReTs and Head Teachers are at the verge of starvation due to misinterpretation of SSA and RMSA schemes leading to wrong implementation resulting into the unnecessary harassment and mental trauma for no fault of them and this in turn is also hampering their efficiency.
The deputation submitted that masters working as head masters/in-charge of the middle schools fall under SSA were appointed as the general line teachers through IKSSRB are also facing wrath on the name of the SSA scheme and their salaries for the last four months have not been relapsed.
"Although they were promoted as masters under plan/ Non plan schemes under state budget in spite of that they are also put under SSA scheme and are facing the same apathy as RETs recruited under the scheme" said Vikrant Sharma.
He said the Head Teachers are also deprived of the 7th Pay Commission due to the recently issued order which does not apply to these Head Teachers.
