Wakf Board cancels fraudulent allotment order, intimates Mehbooba's cousin

Anantnag, July 6: Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Wakf Board Friday cancelled fraudulent allotment order of Former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti's cousin a day after the documents related to fraud went viral.
"The order issued vide order Number 15 of 2018 dated 23-06-2018 under endorsement No. MWB/R&E/225-58 dated 23-06-2018 is hereby withdrawn and treated as cancelled ab-initio," reads the order issued by the Muslim Wakf Board.
A copy of order has been sent to beneficiary who is the daughter of MLA Dooru Syed Farooq Indrabi and is also the cousin of former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti. Syed Farooq Indarbi was minister for Haj and Awqaf for over two years in Mehbooba Mufti's cabinet besides was key member of PDP's kitchen cabinet.

In contravention of rules and Supreme Court ruling, Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Wakf Board had illegally transferred prized property Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti's cousin.
According to documents, former Vice-Chairman Nizam-ud-din Bhat has decided to allot the prized property to Mis Syed Sharqiya d/o Syed Farooq Indrabi.
Set No 5 and 6 having 6 beds and 2 kitchens and two washrooms at Gupkar Wakf complex were allotted to MLA's daughter on 23-06-18 in contravention of the Muslim specified Wakfs and specified Wakf Act 2004/2005 and Judgments of Division Bench of High Court.
The properties were allotted the influential beneficiary without putting the same to auction which was mandatory according to law.
