Patwar Association Kishtwar elects tehsil presidents, delegates

KISHTWAR, Sept 3: As part of its statewide revamp plan, All Jammu and Kashmir Patwar Association District Kishtwar held its Tehsil level Elections at Tehsil Office Kishtwar under the supervision of Election authority Adil Ahmad Beigh member State body of AJKPA Jammu and Kashmir State, Javed Iqbal Khanday ex President all J & K Patwar Association, Ajaz Iqbal Giri President revenue association Kishtwar, Nisar Ahmad Butt President AJKPA District Kishtwar.
All the basic members from all over District assembled at Tehsil office Kishtwar wherein elections for ten out of eleven Tehsils was conducted wherein Molvi Javed Iqbal was Elected as Tehsil President Kishtwar with Mohsin Bashir Sheikh Vice president, Rajan Singh Secretary , Mohammad Suhaib Ankhoon as accountant. The elections were held in a free and fair manner and all the basic members hailed the decision of State body to elect the respective office bearers as Association is presently pleading with government for many of its demands and has in recent last sat on 40 days long strike.
In addition, Imtiyaz Ahmed Zargar, Uzair Talib, Anzar Ahmed Kalal, Majid Hassan Kichloo & Khurshid Ahmed has been elected as delegates from Kishtwar Tehsil.
In his address President Nisar Ahmad Butt congrats all the elected representatives and hope that they will work for the welfare of the Patwaris.
All the elected members express sincere gratitude to all those who showed trust on them by casting there precious votes in their favour. They assured the Association that they will remain at fore front while leading the issues pertaining to welfare of the Patwaris not only in Kishtwar District, but at state level as whole.
On this occasion it was also announced that elections for District President Patwar Association Kishtwar will be held on 10-9-2018 in which the state body has desired to participate for holding free and fair elections for the President post.
